The meaning of each LED is: . Wireless LAN LED This LED lights when the WLAN function is activated. . Touchpad LED This display will light up if the touchpad has been switched off. . Power Indicator This LED lights blue, when the notebook is turned on. Appendix AidComponents Handling Safety 17 Views ..... . Capital Lock This LED lights when CAPS-Lock has been activated. This sets the keyboard to capital letters. . WLAN LED This LED lights when the WLAN function is activated. . Access indicator This LED lights or flashes when the notebook is accessing the hard disk or the optical drive. . Battery LED This LED lights when the battery is charging. . Energy display This display will light up if the system has been switched on and will flash if the laptop is in the Energy Saving Mode. Views Function buttons WLAN Enables or disables the wireless LAN function (see also page 54). Touchpad Enables or disables the touchpad. Multimedia sensor buttons Pause/Play Button Starts the playback of multimedia files or pauses the playback at the selected point. Stop Button Stops the playback of multimedia files. Previous Track Jumps to the previous title during the reproduction of multimedia files. Next Track Jumps to the next title during the reproduction of multimedia files. Decreases the volume.
