However, times will vary depending upon the amount of coffee used and your personal preference. To determine the right grind consistencies, experiment with different grinds and coffee types to suit your taste. Grind Suggested Use Grind Time* Coarse Percolator/ 20 Seconds French Press Medium Automatic Drip 30 Seconds Fine Espresso 40 Seconds *based on full capacity MEASUREMENT SUGGESTIONS For the richest coffee flavor, we suggest using one rounded tablespoon of ground coffee for every 5 ounces of water. The measurement markings in the grinder bowl indicate reference measurements. Fill beans to the marking level indicated by number of cups desired. For example, when making automatic drip coffee, if you fill the bowl with beans to the maximum 18 cup marking, you will have enough ground coffee for 18 cups. Note: These markings are approximate. Experiment with different quantities to determine what works best. © 2005 Cuisinart Cuisinart ® is a registered trademark of Cuisinart 150 Milford Road, East Windsor, NJ 08520 Printed in China. 05CU26447 U IB-4557A DCG-12BC Grind Central ® Stainless Coffee Grinder IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, should always be followed, including 1.
