The heat generated is VERY INTENSE. Note: It is normal for some discoloration of the emitter screen after use. * The burner flame will normally show blue with yellow tip flames (see fig.). Should you notice the flame to be predominantly yellow or producing thick black smoke, this is an indication of air flow obstruction. Shut the unit off and check burner and passageways for debris, insects, spider webs and excessive carbon build up. Clean as needed. HINT: Use a can of compressed air or an air compressor to blow out burner and gas valve areas in the head unit. Spray liberally through vent holes and manual lighting holes. *** WARNING *** After shutting off appliance. wait 5 minutes before re-liahtina. There is a built-in safety system designed to prevent immediate re-lighting after use.
