manual abstract
Induction technology allows charging through the Silicon Jacket. Can I charge my Wii Remote with a Nintendo MotionPlus attached? - Yes. The MotionPlus and the MotionPlus Silicon Jacket do not interfere with charging. This is one of the great benefits of Induction Technology. Can I use my Wii Remote if the charge indicator light is red? - Yes. Your Induction Battery pack may not be fully charged if the charge indicator light is red when you remove the Wii Remote, but this will not harm the battery. If your Wii Remote runs out of charge, simply return it to the Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger for more charging. Can I leave my Wii Remote on the charge dock after the charge light turns green? - Yes. The Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger features trickle charging technology that ensures your Induction Battery Pack is never over-charged and will remain ready to play at all times. The charge light went from green to red when I removed my Remote for just a minute – can I still use it? - Yes. Communication takes place between the Induction Battery Pack and the Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger. If the Induction Battery Pack is fully-charged when placed on the Induction Charger, the charge indicator lights will change from red to green in a few moments. How long will it take to charge the battery pack(s)? - Approximately 4-hours from a fully discharged condition. My Induction Battery Pack feels a little warm after charging. Is this a problem? - No. A small degree of heat dissipation is a natural byproduct of the Induction Charging process. The heat should be no more than you might feel after charging a cell phone or laptop computer. Can I use the Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger to charge other batteries? - No. The Energizer® Induction Base is only intended for charging Energizer Remote Induction rechargeable battery packs for Wii Remotes. Standard battery packs lack Induction Technology required for the Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger to function. Can I use the AC cord on other appliances? - No, this AC cord is to be used only with the Energizer® Flat Panel Induction Charger. Care and Maintenance Keep away from extreme temperatures and humidity, including direct sunlight. Never submerge any parts of the product in liquid. To clean, wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Store in a cool, dry place when not in use. Opening the charging dock will automatically void the warranty. WARNING: Charge only Energizer® NiMH Battery packs in this Charging System for Wii Remotes. Charging any other types of batteries or battery packs may cause them to leak, rupture or explode. Do not open battery, dispose of in fire, put in backwards, mix with used or other battery types or short circuit – may ignite, explode, leak or get hot causing injury.
