A beep confirms the entry. 5.6 Memory Receiving The Minoltafax 1300 receives data in the memory, if the machine runs out of paper or ink during the reception. In this case the display shows alternating with the cause for the problem (PRINTER ERROR, CHECK PAPER or INK EMPTY). Solve the problem and press [PRINTER RESET] to resume the print job. 5.6.1 Memory Capacity The memory has a capacity of approximately 34 ITU test pages No. 1 in normal resolution. However, as the amount of the received data depends on the number of dots received for the picture, the capacity of the memory may be used up earlier. If half tone pictures are received the limit of the memory can be reached in less than a page. In this case the picture must be send as a black and white picture. Minoltafax 1300 RECEIVING 5.7 Reducing the Received Pages If a received page is longer than the loaded paper size (A4), the Minoltafax 1300 can print it on two pages. The machine prevents this by automatically reducing all incoming fax messages to 90 %, 84 % or 70 %. The factory- setting is 90 %.
