Before Use Before Use CAUTION Please keep small parts such as plastic tabs out of children’s reach. Throw the plastic tab away. Note: A plastic tab is attached to the toy for in-store demonstration purposes. While the tab may have already been removed, check the bottom of the toy to be sure. If the plastic tab is still attached, pull and remove the tab from the toy. Throw the plastic tab away. Adult assembly is required. CAUTION Assembly Assembly 1Bottom View • Position the base so the bottom is facing you. • Align the hole in a post with the matching peg on the bottom of the base, as shown. • Insert a screw through the post and into the peg. Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • Repeat this procedure to attach the other post. • Set the base upright. 3 • Align the hole in the post with the matching peg on the bottom of the waterfall, as shown. • Insert a screw through the post and into the peg. Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. 2 • “Snap” the tree into the base. Battery Safety Information Battery Replacement Battery Safety Information Battery Replacement Battery Compartment Door Bottom View For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with three, new "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries. • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the base. • Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door. • Insert three "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries. Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life. • Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten. • When sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries! 1,5 V x 3 “AA” (LR6) Shown Actual Size Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak. • Never short-circuit the battery terminals. • Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended. • Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries. • Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging. • If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
