For additional information see owner’s manual or call 1-800-858-8501. Make sure chain moves freely around guide bar then tighten nut. LOOSEN Loosen nut... If chain becomes loose around guide bar, allow chain to cool then... TIGHTEN Turn chain tensioning screw clockwise to tension saw chain... TIGHTEN WARNING: Unplug saw and allow chain to cool before tensioning. New saw chains will stretch. Check chain tension frequently when first used and tighten when chain becomes loose around guide bar. Pull chain to check tension. Guide links should not come out of guide bar groove...
