NOTE: Inclination angle for car radio installation must not exceed 30° otherwise the front panel will not open. Press EJ/OPEN button (16) and the front panel will open. 2. Grip the release section and pull the front panel forward. Take care not to grip the tightly, or to drop the panel. 3. Close the inner cover. After detaching the front panel, be sure to close the inner cover to prevent dirt, dust or other foreign matter from entering the CD slot. 4. Keep the detached front panel in the protective case provided, front panel display. Note: Be sure not to drop the panel when detaching it from the unit. • Make sure that the front panel is the right way up when attaching it to the unit as it cannot be attached upside down. • Do not press the front panel hard against the unit when attaching it. It can be easily attached by pressing it lightly against the unit. • When you carry the front panel with you, put it in the supplied front panel case. • Do not press hard or give excessive pressure to the display window of the front panel when attaching it to the unit. 1. POWER ON/OFF (PWRVILLUMINATION CONTROL Press any key to power up the unit. Press this key for more than 1 second to turn off the unit. ILLUMINATION CONTROL: Press and release to increase display brightness in steps. 2. SELECT BUTTON: BASS/TREBLE/BALANCE/FADER (SEU Press to select the desired mode: VOLUME - BASS - TREBLE - BALANCE - FADER - VOLUME 3. VOL UP/VOL DOWN FOR BASS/TREBLE/BALANCE/FADER Rotating these key, you can adjust VOLUME, BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE and FADER. 4. PRESET STATIONS Six numbered preset buttons store and recall stations for each band. Storing a station: 1. Select a band (if needed). 2. Select a station. 3. Hold a preset button longer than one second. Preset station number appears in the display when station is saved. Recall a station: 1. Select a band (if needed). 2. Press a preset button for less than one second to select a previously stored station. 5. MUTE BUTTON (MUTE) Press this button to mute the sound. Audio will disappear. Press again to hear sound. 6.
