Take complete control of your music and videos with the JBL On Stage 400P speaker dock. COMPATIBILITY The JBL On Stage 400P system is compatible with all docking versions of the iPod/iPhone. A stereo mini jack connection also allows you to enjoy high-quality audio from a variety of other devices, such as iPod shuffle, MP3 and CD players, desktop computers (all platforms), satellite radio and laptops. REMOTE Just a touch of the Volume controls increases or decreases the volume. Using the Navigation controls, browse songs and photos, change tracks and settings, and more. With the JBL On Stage 400P remote, you have complete control of your iPod/iPhone, as though it were in your hand. EVERCHARGE TOPOLOGY The unit charges your iPod/iPhone, even when not connected to the computer or when the system is off. COMPACT DESIGN The JBL On Stage 400P loudspeaker dock is a complete 2.1-channel audio system, in one easy-to-place footprint. DIGITAL POWER AND DSP The system delivers sound with a powerfully tuned digital audio path. The clean and compact digital amplification, coupled with DSP (digital signal processing) equalization, efficiently provides the transducers with cool-running power. JBL ON STAGE 400P USER GUIDE English English UNPACKING YOUR JBL ON STAGE™* 400P Carefully unpack your speaker system and identify all its components: JBL MENU JBL On Stage™* 400P Adapters for IR remote Power supply Audio cable iPhone and iPod QUICK SETUP INSTRUCTIONS • Plug the barrel end of the power supply cord into the power jack and plug the other end into the wall. • Next, push the power switch; a green LED will light up, indicating that the unit is powered. • Find the correct adapter for your iPod/iPhone, then firmly place it into the docking area shown. • Next, place your iPod/iPhone into the dock, making sure your iPod/iPhone is firmly seated. • Adjust the volume, using (+) to increase and (–) to decrease. Press both to mute the JBL On Stage 400P unit. Press either button to unmute.
