10 1. General information 1.6 Safety information . Place the set on a flat, firm and stable surface. . Keep the system, batteries or discs away from excessive moisture, rain, sand or any heat sources, such as heating equipment or direct sunlight. . Place the set in a location with adequate ventilation to prevent internal heat build-up in your system. Allow at least 10 cm (4 inches) clearance from the rear and the top of the unit and 5 cm (2 inches) from each side. . Never cover the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, cur tains, etc as this will impede ventilation. . Never expose the set to water dripping or splashing. .
