Unpacking • Input adaptor IAD-IF70 (1) • Speaker cords (2) Hookups 1 Connect the transmitter (supplied with the SA-IF70) to the TRANSMITTER jack on the input adaptor (A). 2 To use the wireless speakers as the rear speakers: Connect the INPUT B speaker terminal on the rear panel to the REAR SPEAKER terminal on your amplifier (B). To use the wireless speakers as the main speaker: Connect the INPUT A jack on the front panel to the PHONES OUT jack on the CD player/portable cassette player (C). 3 Connect the AC power cords of the INPUT ADAPTOR and WIRELESS SPEAKER to separate wall outlets (B, C). Note When you connect both inputs (INPUT A and INPUT B) to the different components, you can hear the sound from the component through INPUT A. If you want to hear the component connected to INPUT B, pull out the INPUT A cord. Operation 1 Place the speakers within the effective range. When using the wireless speakers as the rear speakers, refer the Operating instructions supplied with the SA-IF70. When using the speakers as the main speakers, place them within the effective range as shown the illustration (D). 2 Press POWER to turn on the adaptor. The indicator on the adaptor lights up green. When the sound is not heard Adjust the position, direction and angle of the transmitter so the wireless speakers are within the effective range. Adjusting the level You can also adjust the level using LEVEL on the front panel (E). You make use of the maximum level. Troubleshooting No bass sound is heard from the rear speakers. • Check that the speaker cords are connected properly (B).
