Removing a Memory Stick To remove a Memory Stick using the Memory Stick slot, proceed as follows: 1 Check that the access light is off. 2 Push the Memory Stick in towards the computer. The Memory Stick ejects. 3 Pull the Memory Stick out of the slot. . Always remove the Memory Stick gently, or it may pop out unexpectedly. It is recommended that you remove the Memory Stick before shutting down the computer. You need to connect to a phone line to take advantage of online services and the Internet, as well as to nNregister your computer and software online, and to contact VAIO-Link. To connect a phone line, proceed as follows: 1 Plug one end of the phone cable ( 1) into the phone line jack on the computer. 2 Plug the other end into the wall jack (2) . Have your phone company check that your phone line is free from any line noise. .
